- No minimum balance required
- Non interest bearing account
- Eligible entities to open Capital Account: FDI companies, foreign companies
- Allowable transactions: Transfer/receive FDI, chartered capital, short, medium or long term foreign loans repayment, remit profits abroad, collection and payment relating to FDI.
- Capital account can be used for purchasing stock and capital contribution purposes.
- If Capital Account is open for purchase of shares, Standard Chartered will assist customers to apply for Trading Code from Vietnam Securities Depository and register with State Bank of Vietnam.
